About the International Norton Owners Association

The INOA currently has around 1700 members in the US and Canada. We also have members in the UK, Australia and other countries around the world. A majority of the members also belong to a local chapter that meets on a regular basis to socialize, ride and provide technical support. All local chapters and affiliates are listed on the chapters part of this site, and in the Norton News. We're at 39 chapters and counting as of November, 2008!

Our membership gathers once a year at a National Rally for 5 days of socializing, riding, field events, technical seminars, great meals and a bike show. These events are hosted by a different INOA chapter each year, alternating around the US and Canada in hopes that all the membership will have a chance to enjoy at least one of these great events. Rally schedules are published well in advance here and in the Norton News, and many members plan their family vacation around this annual event in July.

The Norton News magazine is published for INOA members five times a year, containing information, technical articles, and event information and reviews. Many Norton-related businesses support the club by paid advertising, and this also provides easy access to the parts and services you may need as a Norton owner. You can also run a free classified ad in the Norton News for bikes and parts wanted or for sale. In most years a Parts, Services, Membership or PSM issue is also produced, containing names and phone numbers of our members arranged by geographic area (useful for emergency aid while traveling) and virtually all Norton parts and service vendors in North America.

On this web site you will find current club information, local events, pictures of members bikes and events, technical tips, local club information and contact information for the staff. You can renew your membership on line and pay via charge card as a convenience. The INOALIST email-based on line chat group is also available at no charge for both members and non-members. For many remote members around the continent and the world, this offers a vital way to interact and share knowledge with other Norton owners.

You will also find on the web page a link to Norton and INOA related merchandise available through the Bracebridge St Depot. You can download the order form for very reasonably priced gifts for a friend or for yourself. Our benchmark Technical Digest is also available, ofering a compilation of technical information gathered through years of experience from many of the Club members. This is a must-have for any Norton owner.

We encourage you to join the INOA, to take full advangage of the benefits and features offered by the Club. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact any of the officers listed at the Staff section of this site.

Sincerely,

Suzi Greenway, President
