For Sale: 1973 Norton 850 RoadsterGoodland, KS1973 Norton 850 Roadster, vid# 304617, 11,500 miles, number matching, completely factory orginal except for the seat cover and one muffler. In fact this bike still has the orginal Avon tires, English made hose clamps, and clear plastic fuel lines. Tank and side covers were repainted in 1997 to Norton red, with new Black Norton decals. I stopped riding it in 2001 because of knee problems. At that time I removed the battery and drained the oil & gas. I then used engine store oil in the cyl. and carbs. I guarantee the bike will run like new by just adding oil, gas, and a battery. The items that I know will need to be fixed are the following - Needs new front fork tube gaters, needs the brake master cyl. rebuilt (just starting leaking fluid last month), fuel tank needs repainting (paint has cracked on the top and some of the brake fluid from the master cyl. got onto the lower RH side causing the paint to lift), and battery. I have been trailering this bike to bike shows for the last 10 years and it has won many, many awards. I will sell it for $5,400 firm. I have lots of pictures of the bike that I can email you.
