Searching for 73 Commando Frame # 303998Sold in San Diego mid-80'sDear Norton Enthusiasts: Trying to locate a Norton I previously owned and sold around 1987 in San Diego, CA: 1973 Norton Commando Roadster Black Frame/Eng # 303998 I am a former member of the San Diego Norton Club in the early to mid-eighties. At that time, I sold my 850 Commando Roadster to another club member, an architect whose name I have since misplaced. I heard that he may have donated or sold the bike to a museum in the Kansas City or St. Louis area, and I am not sure if that is correct. Since then, I have acquired a low mile, mostly original 1974 model. I’d like to find my old bike and see if arrangements could be made to put the low mile machine where it belongs, in a museum or collection, and my old bike back in my garage.
